UPDATE!!! : I have now finished graduated from University. I managed to bag a first class for my Final Major Project, it was worth all the hard work!
Now I am looking for work within trend forecasting and buying, with hope to specialise in print buying. Who knows what the future holds however, I am itching to get my feet in industry and willing and enthusiastic towards a whole variety of employment opportunities!

A bit about me, I'm currently in my final year studying Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors at University for the Creative Arts. After finishing my Art & Design Foundation I went to University to study Graphic Design. Just before heading in to my third and final year, I made the bold decision that the course wasn't for me and I wanted a degree in a different specialism.
I transferred campus' and joined the second year class of the Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors course, specialising in print. I was anxious about transferring from Graphic Design to Printed Textiles, having never really studied in Textiles before, but I have found that there is a very strong link between the two and the skills that I developed during those two years of GD have helped me immensely. Changing course is the best thing that I ever did and I want to share my journey and learning experiences here on my blog.

I have a strong love for fashion and print in fashion but also find myself encompassing a passion for fine art and abstract painting in my designs. My work tends to begin it's journey in the sketchbook as a variety of mixed media techniques, find it's way to the Mac and photoshop, and then land itself back into screen printing... I enjoy mixing digital with screen printing, getting messy, and having fun.
